I am looking for information and descendants of the persons shown in the Census below: My primary interest in Brown County, TX centers around "Young Hiram," his siblings, and their descendants: "Young Hiram" is 3 years of age in this 1850 Coles Co., Illnois Census (shown below). About 1855
"Old Hiram" (born abt 1800/01) takes his family from Illinois and migrates to McDonald Co., MO. His married children either go with him or follow soon after. His older son Greenbury (absent from this 1850 census) is SOMEWHERE?? but Greenbury's wife Bathsheba Hannon Donica and his son "Young Hiram" born about 1847 are at "Old Hiram's Illinois residence.
They all reside in McDonald Co., MO until the late 1880s or early 1890's then they begin to scatter. I am told that
some of Greenbury & Batsheba Hannon Donica's children head South. "Young Hiram's children (atleast some of them) are in Brown County, TX by 1893 because Albert Alexander born 1875 marries Emma Stewart July 30, 1893. His brother Abraham L. born 1869 marries S. A. McElmurry, and I am assuming a sister Kissi Doneca marries F. C. Staener October 11, 1886.
If you have information about this family, I would surely love to hear from you. And a picture would be absolutely wonderful. I will gladly share any information that I have on the Donica and relatied lines. I will also PROMPTLY repay any copying and shipping cost that you might incur.
