Surnames: JERNIGAN, JARRELL
I am also a JERNIGAN descendant. I just learned of Loudie and A. J. JERNIGAN (1845-1914) being buried in Brown Co, TX in Revial Cemetery. A. J. (Andrew Jackson) JERNIGAN was from Marion Co, GA and a brother to my great-great-grandmother Missouri Antanet JERNIGAN. They were 2 of 10 children of Ptolemy JERNIGAN (1795-1868) and Sarah L. JARRELL. Those two had married in Greene Co, GA in 1822.
One of Ptolemy's brothers?? went into FL. This means all of us would go back to Ptolemy's father Hardy JERNIGAN (d 1836) in Hancock Co, GA for the connectionn.

In my researching Brown Co, TX last week I noticed many JARRELL family members; do any of you know if they are related to the JERNIGAN through Sarah L. JARRELL? I am eager to hear from the three of you. Linda Johnson, 828 Lane Rd., Texas City, TX
