William Armstrong b 1823 OH m Zaruah Fulcher in Burleston Co ca 1848. William and Spencer were indicted for murder in Lavaca Co TX in 1865. They (allegedly) lynched a man who had been pillaging the county. The case was sent to Colorado Co and finally was called in 1870. William was the only one of the accused to show up. The case was thrown out. William's mother was named Teresa Rice. I have always wondered if Spencer was a relative. Do you have any info on where Spencer was born? Sally Fenly
