I have been trying to find where my husbands relatives are buried in Caldwell County (Lockhart, Luling, Maxwell and Praire Lea areas) I called Deleon's Funeral Home hoping they would have some records. They stated in 1976 they took it over from Mr. Martinez who has since past and he would have had all of the burial records. They said no records were kept until about 5 years ago. They said that the family would have to know where their relatives were buried. Our relatives had very little money so we doubt there are tombstones. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find the info? Does anyone have contact with the previous owner Pedro P. Martinez's (1713) family? I am hoping maybe the records are buried in a basement somewhere. If so, maybe they could be transcribed and put on the web? I would be willing to help with this project if the records were available. Any help/ideas/suggestions in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Lisa Guerra
