The Museum in Port Lavaca Calhoun county Texas has history folders for these surnames. Some of the folders have a page or two, others have many pages.

The museum also has two history books for sell.

Port Lavaca, Texas 1840-1990 It has lots of bios, pictures and other information. 347 pages no index

Indianola The Mother of Western Texas by Brownson Malsh
This book has an index and is 351 pages.

I have copies of both books. If you are researching families in Calhoun County they may be mentioned in these books. I would be happy to do a look up.
