This family is out of Monticello, Jasper Co, GA in 1860 wound up in Texas after the war counted in Gilmer, Upshur Co, TX 1870 census.

The two nieces of Cora's were children of Henry Walters born MO 1857 and mother Sarah Porter born TX 1852, sister of Cora who was a Porter. This eliminates this William Malone as being the one you look for.
