I am not related to this family.
The 1880 record says Henry Brown was born in Texas, father from Massachusetts and mother from Prussia. On same page is family of Jessie Brown born appx 1813 Alabama.
The 1850 record shows a male listed as H C Brown in Washington county, age 16, no persons from MASS or Prussia listed there as Brown.
No Wm McBride found in 1880 record born appx 1860, the ones I do find are about 2 yrs younger, per the 1910 record this was his first marriage and the record shows that Sarah J
had 9 children but did not tell how many were living in 1910.

Wm Mc Bride born 4/1860 Texas, married 18 yrs, father IL, mother MS
Sarah J Mc Bride born May 1852 Texas mother of 6 living children of 9, father MS, mother TX
King Brown 12/1880 father from TX
Chease Mc Bride 5/1884
Ellen Mc Bride 7/1886 - only child in household in 1910
Rosa Mc Bride 1/1889
Also in Justice Precinct 2, Chambers, 1900 was a Hugh Brown born Aug 1892, grandson of Charles M and Sarah Wilcox. No females in the household other than Sarah. Charles
Wilcox born 10/1848 TX and Sarah 3/1840 TX, married 29 yrs, 8 living children of 10.
The Willcox family was also in Turtle Bayou, Chambers county in 1880 and had a daughter named Capitola born abt 1875. Sarah Willcox was previously married and had 3 children surname of Lee, two of them daughters born 1860 and 1862. Could Capitola Wilcox and Franklin Brown have been the parents of Hugh Brown ? Hugh Brown is living between the Harmon family and King D Brown family in the 1920 census then he disappears from Chambers county after this record.
King Dallas Brown married Emma Jane Rucker [I think she was Rucker] abt 1901. The 1910 census says they had been married 9 yrs, three children had been born of the
marriage with two of them surviving. Henry Brown 1903 -1904 is probably their son buried next to Franklin Brown. King and Emma named next son Leonard Rucker Brown.

2. Florence Brown is married to Harmon and living in 1900
3. Victoria Brown 1876 -1885

Following Florida born 1878 found in JP 2, Chambers. If this is Florida Brown she would be the 6th living child if I understand that Willie McBride died in 1883. Florida Fowler not found in the 1920 census, husband had another wife, no death record found for a Florida Fowler in Chambers county.

THE HARMON SADDLE SHOP
Five miles north of Hankamer in the community of Harmon
One of the most popular and famous businesses in this part of the state is the Harmon Saddle Shop of Hankamer, which is actually located five miles north of town in the community of Harmon on Hankamer Loop Road. Established in 1896 by Charles S. Harmon, the shop quickly achieved popular acceptance. Harmon was known for his hand-hewn saddle trees, which he shaped with an axe and chopping block until electricity came to Hankamer in the 1930s. Mr. Charlie then began using an electric handsaw.
His son Alva J. Harmon, Sr., who operated the shop from 1947 until his death in 1973, described how Mr. Charlie got into the business:
It was just that he had knowledge of saddle making and was talented in handling all kinds of riding equipment repair. When friends and neighbors learned this, they began to bring him saddles, bridles, etc., for repair, plus occasionally ordering a handmade saddle. Dad tried to take care of their equipment repairs in his spare time but since Houston and Beaumont were the nearest places they could have work of this nature done, he soon became swamped with work, much more than he could ever do in his spare time. So, he did the logical... he quit farming and opened a saddle shop. And, he kept right on working at producing saddles until his death.
Above information taken from Chambers County A Pictorial History by Margaret Henson and Kevin Ladd. Also includes pictures of the shop and of Mr. Harmon page 219 and 220
