Oak Hill Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas (Includes 15 Reinterred graves from Fairdale Cemetery; 1 Reinterred grave from McDaniel Cemetery; & 5 Reinterred graves from Vickers Cemetery), Sabine County, Texas - From the Sabine County Court House in Hemphill, Texas take FM 83 (Worth Street) East one block to State Hwy 87. Go South or Right on Hwy 87 for 9.6 miles to the intersection of FM 2928, turn East or Left onto FM 2928 and go 3.7 miles to Old Oak Hill Road. There is a green highway sign that says Oak Hill Cemetery. Turn Right on the road, following the sign and you can see that the cemetery is 0.2 mile in front of you by Oak Hill Baptist Church. J. B. Sanders Cemetery Book (Abt 1963) lists 40 graves as being unmarked in Oak Hill & 9 in Fairdale. Additional information added in parenthesis.
