A history of Wesley United Methodist Church, Greenville, TX, is being prepared. Rev. Cecil M. Ellis served the church from 1966 to 1968 transferring from the Central Texas Confernece into the North Texas Conference and then back out to the Central Texas Conference. It has been told that he returned to Brownwood; on the SS Death Index there is a Cecil ELLIS that was born 11 Sep 1922 and died 15 Apr 1998 with a residence of Santa Anna, Coleman County, TX. Seeking obituary and/or descendants to gather information for the church history.
