I did not find the Samuel Faulkner family in the 1900 record nor the parents of Mary M Crowder. Mary's brother William was also in Collin county in 1880 listed as W A Crowder.

Was Herbert's middle name Benjamin ? Found a Ben Faulkner in Collin county in 1910 record but he could be from the other Faulkner's that settled in Collin county before 1870 ?

The loss of the 1890 census hinders research...sorry.
