Looking for any information on the family of John F. Elliott, born Mar 1876 in Franklin County, Texas, and died 13 May 1944 in Collingsworth County.

John is the brother of my great grandfather, James Arthur Elliott.

John was married to Doshia Adeline Hill (1889-1964). She is also buried in Collingsworth County.

There were 5 five children:

Amon Lee Elliott (1908-1975), married Leonna Lazelle Damron, and at least had a daughter named Bette Lee Elliott. Amon is buried near Wellington in Collingsworth County.

Doshia Elliott (1911 - ?). Have her living with parents in the 1930 Collingsworth County Census at age of 19, but nothing after that.

Thelma Sue Elliott (1910-?), married Robert Allford (1904-1991). Not sure where in Texas Robert died, but cannot find anything on death for Thelma Sue. At least two boys; Robert Lacy Allford (1932-) and John William Allford (1934-2006).

Pauline Elliott (1914 - ?), married Lloyd Gayland Graham (1912 - ?). At least 1 daughter noted, Doshia Gayland Graham, born 7 Aug 1941 in Collingsworth County, and married a Thomas Bryant McGill (1941 - ). At least 1 daughter named Sherilyn Ruth McGill, born 21 Jul 1961 in Hale County, Texas, who married Elton L. Pharr 24 Sep 1994 in Lamb County, Texas.

Harmon Hill Elliott (5 Dec 1916-19 Mar 1994). Married Claudine E. Melton (1924 - ), and believe had 2 children; Judy Ann Elliott (b. 1948) and John Freeman Elliott (b.1950).
