I am looking for information on the Alex WHITE family that lived in Coryell County after 1860 to 1900. The following information is all I have.
Alex WHITE, born ca.1812 in IL (parents unknown), died 1875, buried Coffey Cemetary,Coryell county; married Nancy Caroline CHAMBLISS/CHAMBERS (date unknown, sometime before 1859, place unknown).

Nancy Caroline CHAMBERS born March 17, 1833 in Ga.(death certificate says parents Warren Chambers and Meis Armstrong), died Oct. 16, 1921 in Scurry County. She was married prior to Alex WHITE to ? REAVES in GA. After Alex died in 1875, rumor says she married ? ARD. On June 18, 1881, she married W. C. Purcell in Coryell country. After he died in 1895, she moved to Hamilton county. Before she died in 1921, she married ? BRAY. My father knew her as Granny BRAY. She had the following children:

George REAVES born March 11, 1852 in GA., died Nov. 8, 1887, buried in Coffey Cemetary, Coryell county. Married Manassas Dossey May 28, 1886, in Coryell county. Children unknown.

Josephine REAVES born ca.1855 the rest is unknown

Benjamin Franklin WHITE born June 25, 1859 in TX., died Feb. 22, 1942 in Shreveport, LA., buried in Pottsville, TX. Married Cynthia Sabina KINSEY Aug. 1981, in Coryell county. Lived in Coryell county and Hamilton county and had 15 children. (This is my grandfather)

John Donaldson WHITE (twin) born 1861 in TX., died 1935 in TX., buried in Wellington, TX. Married Margaret KINSEY Jan. 24, 1883, in Coryell county and had 12 children.

Wiley Frazier WHITE (twin) born 1861 in TX., died (unknown), buried (unknown). Married Cordelia VAN CLEVE Aug. 24, 1882. Children unknown.

Amanda C. WHITE born ca. 1863 in Coryell county TX., died April 29, 1954 in Scurry county TX., buried in Scurry county. Married G.Newton TURNER Aug. 19, 1877. Married Tom YEATES after 1918. Children unknown.

Mary Elizabeth WHITE born ca. 1867 in Coryell county TX., died (unknown), buried (unknown). Married Wesley W. PAINTER Nov. 13, 1883. Children unknown.

I would like to fill in the blanks and get in contact with the WHITE "cousins" We are planning a WHITE family reunion in June of 2000 in Hamilton, TX. and would like to find as many of the WHITE decendents as we could.
