The two oldest sons, David M and Francis Wilburn joined the confederate army, 24th Arkansas Infnatry 16 Jan 1862 at Falcon, Arkansas. Francis W was captured 11 January 1863 at the Battle at Arkansas Post.
Francis W married Laura M Gleason 14 July 1858 at Layfayette Arkansas.
Next known fact, Francis W and his family are in Coryell County Texas during the 1880 census, David M with his wife Arimtina, their daughter Mary and four step-sons are in Coleman County TX at the time of the 1880 census.
