The puzzle piece that has confused me is the 1932-33 school records for Crane County. It appears that Mary Ella Young registered the 2 youngest Raymond A. Young girls (edith and joyce) in school with her 4 children--something a relative might do...

My Young relative is Jack Young--one of 3 R.A. Young's boys that went to Isabel, South Dakota to ranch and achieve rodeo fame. He was also the Crane county sherriff for 10 years--1938-1948 -married 5 times, no children. Returned to Crane co. for marriage #5, married Crane widow, Fern Keltner in 1976. they divided their time between Crane county and South Dakota. Looking for any and all information on his life.
