I am searching for Willie L. Adair and Pernina P. Adair. Pernina married Henry C. Rawlings, 25 Sep 1860's or 1870's in Crockett County, Texas.

The story is, Martha Ann Herring Adair, wife of Pleasant Walker Adair left Carroll (now Montgomery) County, Ms. during the Civil War (or after). He husband had been killed in the war. She moved with her children Willie and Pernina and probably Susan Ann (who m. A. P. Wray; Lee Roy H.; Fannie L.; and Martha T.
