When you post, it is very helpful to fully identify the person you seek. This information includes their date of birth (to help eliminate those having the same names). Also identify that Perry was her maiden name and name the first name of Mr. Elliott. Since you have a posted family tree on your person, posting the link will answer a lot of needed questions:

You also posted in Dickens County for records of Lubbock... Lubbock is in Lubbock County. Were the marriages or divorce, births of children in Dickens County? The county map of Texas shows Crosby County between Dickens to the East, and Lubbock to the West. You need to be specific on who is where and when. From another posting, Dec 2012, in Lubbock County, you identified you found the marriage records of Hill and Elliot, but you didn't say where.

As far a divorce records, they can be found ANYWHERE. The person that files is the Petitioner, the other person is the Respondent. They do NOT have to file the Petition in the same county or even State where they married.

Your tree shows Mabel was born 22 Feb 1911 in Childress, Childess Co, TX and died 6 June 1981 in Harbor Hills, LA County, CA. She was the daughter of William Perry and Mary Price.
--On another site, in 2007, you asked to find info on Isabelle Jane Abercrombe Perry, buried in the Kirkland Cemetery, Childress Co. Here is her gravestone:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=pe...;

She was married to Litt James Elliot, borrn 29 Mar 1909 in Palo Pinto, TX, died 20 June 1959 in Odessa, Ector Co, TX. She had two daughters with Litt Elliott and two additional children, one dau and one son, surname Elliott. Both deceased.

The 1940 Census of Crosbyton, Crosby County, TX
Mabel Elliot, age 29, born in Texas, Senior Library Clerk/ Head of household/married.
Justine, dau, 9,
J.C, son, 7,
Wanda Diane(?), dau, 5
Annette, dau, 1
Jenette, dau, 1 (twins?)
--Since it appears she had been living in Crosby County since at least 1935, the twins probably were born there, possibly Wanda also.
