I am writing a book about officers who were murdered in the line of duty in Texas, just one of the books in my series called, "How Did They Die?" I am trying to find an obit for Leon Thomas Burnett who died May 15, 1982 in Ector Co. Not only am I writing about the murdered officer but I also like to write about the criminal. Burnett killed a city marshall in Clay Co. Texas in 1946,IF I have the right man.
Any help would be appreciated.
