Here is an obituary for Albert Darius Welch, Jr.
FORT WORTH -- Albert Darius Welch, Jr., 72, a retired New York Life agent, died Monday, February 5, 2007.
Funeral services were to be held next Monday at Genesis United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. with burial at 1 p.mat Dallas/Fort WORTH National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. next Sunday at Thompson’s Harveson and Cole Funeral Home.
His memory may be honored with a gift to Scottish Rite Hospital, 222 Welborn St., Dallas 75219.
Albert Darius Welch, Jr. was born May 9, 1934 in San Antonio, the only child of the late Albert Darius and Sarah Elizabeth Beyette Welch, Sr. Welch’s father was Albert Darius Welch, MD, who served as a physician here in Rocksprings many years ago.
Welch served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a hospital corpsman and was Past Master of Poly Lodge #925 AF & AM.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Welch.
Survivors: His wife of 33 years, Nancy; children, Albert D. Welch III and his wife, Linda, Victoria Welch, and Alex Wilson; grandchildren, David, Samuel and Katherine Welch.
Thompson’s Harveson & Cole Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort WORTH, Texas was in charge of arrangements.
