I did find John and Carl in the SSDI for CA, but even with the exact dates, they aren't showing up on the CA death records. I thought that if I could find the CA death records, it would assure that they are my Sims, especially Carl. It is possible, since there is no place of residence(too young to be drawing unless he was disabled) he could have died anywhere, but like the others he signed up in Oklahoma. I am 99% sure they are mine, but I always like to have more than one record if possible. I have made enough errors in my time, that I try to second guess myself. :=) My next project will be to find their place of burial. You gave me a leg up on this one with your info!

I am sorry to hear about your brother, but not surprised about the report. I had a friend I went to school with, who was living in Antlers. He was in OKC in the hospital trying to find out what was wrong with him, acted like pneumonia but not exactly. He suddenly died while his sister had stepped out to get him a Dr. Pepper. She was so shocked when she returned to find him gone. And 6 months later she was still waiting for the autopsy to see what it was that killed him. I am not sure she ever got a satisfactory answer. I finally stopped asking...it seemed like an imposition.
