G.mother parents;
John David Hughes, b. in 1849 in Jackson County Alabama, m. 1865. Traveled to Texas via Louisana arriving Freestone County Texas 1867-68. Died in Luna, Aug 27, 1905 at 56yrs.
His mother moved from Alabama with them, Nancy Hughes.
Minerva Adeline Cartwright, b.(?). d.1919. buried in the Antitoch Cemetery. They had 10 Children, James H.(Jim) Hughes, Nancy Ann Hughes Rhinehart, Martha Liz Hughes Derby, Johnny B. Hughes, Tom Hughes, Edward Phillip Hughes, Eliz A. (Liza) Hughes Lanningham, Florence Izetta Hughes Vinson, Rufus Hughes, and Ollie M. Hughes.

Wiley W. Vaughan, b. 16 Aug 18898, in Cooke County Texas m. 1920 in Navarro County. Farmed in Navarro County most of his life. Died May 17, 1991. Surviving siblings; Hattie Vaughan Armstrong, Helen Vaughan Robinson, and Johnnie Vaughan.
Salina Crawford, b. Jul 13, 1901, d. Dec 8, 1995.
