Jennie's obit states she came to Galveston from New Orleans as a young child with her parents, Mr & Mrs I.C. Levy. You can find them on the 1870 Galv census as Isaac and Mina. The three Samuels children, Louis, Jennie and Adolph are enumerated as Levy. There are two younger (Levy) children,Mollie b 1862 & Max b 1868. Jennie's mother was Minna Posner as is on her half siblings death certificates.

Looking at NY passenger lists, it seems as if Minna and Louis and her husb, Hirsch age 27, came over Apr 21 1854 on the ship Elise.

I could not find anything else on him. But, there is a tree on ancestry that has Isaac Levy in it, wife is Minna Posner Samuels with her death in 1898.

Adolph died in 1870, Louis in 1909.
