Well, I know a little bit about it. The Glasscock County Oil Association was basiclly a group of Mineral Interest owners in the Garden City area who pooled their mineral rights by conveying them to the Glasscock County Oil Association. I believe the Currie Family was a part of this, as was the Calverley Family, but don't quote me on that. I do know that the association never discovered any oil (?) and they subsequently dissolved and sold all the mineral rights back to the original owners. You can find out more about this by going to the Glasscock County Courthouse in Garden City and using the indirect (grantee) index to Search for the Glasscock County Oil Association between about 1920 and 1950.
