Robert Sylvanus Armstrong Barnett ( known as RSA ), mar. Dicy Ellen White in Grayson Co. Tx in mid 1800's. His father was William Sylvanus Barnett, both being born inYork Co. S C. Dicy died and RSA mar her cousin Sarah whose husband was killed earler by a turned over tractor on his farm near Farmington or Sherman. Dicy and RSA's son Willian Anderson, ( named after his grfather , Anderson WHITE, ) mar Mary S. Lane in 1874 and had son John Robert Barnett, born 1875 , my grfather. Mary died abt 1876 ??. William then mar. Sarah HAYES and had more ch. and left Grayson Co. Tx in 1889 for Or. via Old Oregon trail. I have two stories written by the families in the train. The relatives left behind tell that they thought they had been all killed by Indians or else and were surprised whn a Descendant showed up in Farmington and started asking questions and searching the Farminton Cemetary in the 1980's. I guess the family failed to attempt contact from the still little settled Or. territory. If any descendants of any mentioned persons would contact me I'd be ever so grateful.
