Funeral mass for Pedro Nuncio, 78, Frederick, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Helens Catholic Church, Frederick, with the Rev. N.J. Balaswamy, pastor, officiating.
Rosary service will be held 6 p.m. Monday at Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Nuncia died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, in Frederick.
Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery, Frederick, under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home.
He was born Feb. 23, 1927, in Castroville, Texas, to Selso and Maria (Guitierrez) Nuncio. He moved around with his family when he was young, but spent time in the Frederick area and Oklaunion. He worked as a farm laborer and as a mechanic. He lived in Lockney, Texas, as well as Southwest Oklahoma. He spent some time in West Palm Beach, Fla., before returning to Frederick in 1995. He was a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a twin sister, Petra Salinas; and four brothers, Bralio Nuncio, Nicolas Nuncio, Santos Nuncio and Bobby Nuncio.
Survivors include a sister, Maria Serrano, Frederick; two brothers, Margarito "Mike" Nuncio, Snyder, and Jose "Joe" D. Nuncio, Quanah, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
