I am looking for a lake or big pond that my late husband called the TP Lake. He took me there one time and I cannot remember where it is. I was given directions to one, but that wasnt it. It is at an intersection. The RR tracks run along side the lake then go over a bridge over the road. Seems to me that the opening of the bridge was rounded, rather than square like more modern overpasses now and that if you had to pass a car under that overpass, you couldnt do it. That is how small it is. If I am correct in saying that the tracks went east to west, then the lake would be on the south side of the tracks, then a small wooded area, then a road of the intersection. The other road of the intersection would go north to south and has the overpass or bridge and that is the side the lake is dammed on.
My interest in this is because in the wooded area between the lake and the road, there is a VERY, old cemetery. Stones dating in the 1700's. If you dont know the cemetery is there, you would never find it. And you cannot tell from the road. It just looks like woods. If I can find the lake, I can find the cemetery.
Any of you Marshallites know where this is??
