I am researching my husbands Cervantes/Cantu branch of the family. I know his grandmother Hipolita "Paula" Cervantes was born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico in 1915 to Eduardo Cervantes and Francisca Cantu. Hipolita along with her parents and siblings- Silvestre and Bernarda, moved from Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Texas (presumably the Hidalgo County area) in abt 1919. Her younger brother Philemon stayed behind in Mexico. If you have any common links, let me know and we can compare notes. Thank you!
