I'm not related or acquainted. I must have been busy on other research when this posting originated in 2005? Anyway, I peeked at your tree and here's a little help. Mahlan's youngest sibling was Thomas Roscoe Hardwick (13 Oct 1894 or '95 - 26 Nov 1946). His death certificate online https://familysearch.org/ His wife was Cora Eva Ottinger (26 May 1901 - 25 Mar 1970). They had Albert "Jim" Hardwick (30 Jul 1941 - 17 Aug 2013). Jim's obit is online via ancestry.com and survivors are identified. I hope you'll pursue introductions? This post was originated by a descendant of Janette (Nettie) Mae Hardwick Hutson (4 Jun 1893 - 1939) another sibling who's buried in Scott, AR. Another sibling, Bettie Hardwick McLaughlin (1 Jan 1889 - 15 Mar 1922) died in Hopkins County. Sibling, Manda E. (Jan 1886) wed William Honeyman. Evidently, she expired prior to 1920 'cause her husband and kids are found next to your ancestor in Brown County. Please add documentation, (such as census records, military records, marriages, death certificates, etc) to your tree? A good start: 1900 TN-Pickett-Civil District 5-District 58-Image 21. From there, most of the "suggested records" referenced by ancestry.com are accurate.
