My mother's Uncle John William "Will" SMITH ran a furniture store in Big Spring, TX ..guess in early 1900's. He was born in Hardin Co, TENN in 1877, and I don't know when he left to go to Texas. We have a photo of him and some customers inside his furniture store and it has wicker furniture, baby buggies, beds, etc.
If you have any knowledge of this store of this SMITH family, please respond. Family legend has it that John William was a "ladies man" and he was killed while flirting with another man's wife. Think this may have happened while he was traveling on a train.
Hate to see this branch of the Smith family be completely lost to history.. Please print this out and give it to anyone that might have some ties or knowledge of this SMITH family.
I will give my address as I know not everyone has computer.
