Searching for the mystery of Nola Long

I am looking for a woman named Nola Long. She is supposedly the mother of William Melvin Johnson, born in Lone Oak, TX in 1911. His father was George R. Johnson, but I cannot find any record of Nola. All I have is a photo of William being held by a woman, and on the back it is handwritten "Melvin's mother Nola," and William Melvin's obituary where it lists his mother as Nola Long.

George was single in the 1910 census, and was married to Rosa Bell Brownlee by the 1920 census.

Any help would be appreciated.
