Been looking for my ggggreat grandfather for a long time.. He was one of about a thousand men named William __ Williams, who fought in the Revolution and then headed south from Maryland or Virginia, to Mississippi, then to Louisiana (Bienville Area) then west into Texas. He is supposed to have died in Jasper Co in 1820 but that may not be the exact year. He may have been burried in the county some where. Several months ago, I found references to a Williams Mill (lumber mill) in Jaster Co. I recognized some of the names, and I know the family traded in lumber (and most anything else they could sell) but could not pin anyone down. I would appreciate any info I could get. If I find the info on Williams Mill, I will post it. HELP me Please.
