Hi again, Gerald. I recently found another line of Townsends in Kaufman Co. that are new to me. Silas B. Townsend b. 1809 had a son, Andrew Jackson Townsend b. 1847 in Pike Co., AL. His kids ended up in Kaufman Co. and are in the 1920 Census with their families. Silas B. "Cap" Townsend, James Columbus Townsend. He had other children--don't know if they stayed in TX or not: Silas Barney Townsend, Bessie Townsend Morton, Mattie Townsend Morton. These folks all have Scott Co., MS roots. Thanks, Ann
