Jesse Hearn born 19 July 1861 Alabama died 23 Feb 1938 St Mary's Hospital in Tucson, Pima County lived at 120 North Cherry, retired minister, wife Nancy Hearn, father listed as William Hearn born unknown place mother listed as Ada Scott born in Texas, buried Evergreen Cemetery 25 Feb 1938. Cause of death was colon cancer.
I am not related. You can obtain copy of Alfred's application that he filed to obtain his SS # which names his parents. Cost is 27.00 and it is a public record. However, Alfred's mother was Ada M Scott born in Pontotoc Co MS daughter of Alfred Marshall Scott and Martha Ann Cox. The three of them are buried at Black Jack Cemetery in Kaufman county along with some of the family of James Henry Hearn and his wife Joyce.
Now to figure out who the parents of Jesse Hearn really were. I'm not having much luck. He is not part of the J H Hearn family that was already in Kaufman County in 1870. Jesse could possibly be nephew of James Henry Hearn ?
I find no public trees regarding the Jesse Hearn & Ada Scott children. Jesse Hearn married Nancy A "Nannie" Jacobs about 1898 and they had one child Ernest Jesse Hearn in OK in 1899. Nancy's maiden name and death are from a family tree regarding Ernest Hearn. Nancy Hearn's death reported to be in Tucson 09 Jan 1967.
