I'm looking for any information on the Bowlden family. I know that Marienne Bowlden married John Kilgore Pyle 28 Nov 1854 in Kaufman Co.

Their daughter Marienne Elizabeth married my great grandfather Walter Seaford Jones.

I know that Marienne's father was James Bowlden b. 1787 in England and it is believed that he and Marienne immigrated to Texas through Galveston. The 1870 census for Kaufman has two Jas. Bowlden's listed, one is a teacher living with a Johnson family listed on page 154. The other is a merchant living alone on page 153.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
