I am trying to find information on my gggrandfather Samuel Marion Brown born 1843. He married Mary Elizabeth Evans 20 Jan 1867 in Lavaca Co, TX. They moved to Bell Co, TX around 1868/1869 and settled near Killeen, TX. They had six children: Marion (my ggrandfather), Rube, Ellie Brown LaGrone, Mattie Brown LaGrone, Henry, and Jesse. Marion married Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie) Sliger and moved the family to Shep, Taylor Co, TX around 1904. Marion and Lizzie had six children: Ira, Lee Roy, Claude, Mary, and Willie Samuel (my grandfather). My grandfather told me that he had family especially an uncle who lived in Yoakum, TX; so I am hoping that there is still some family living in Lavaca Co. Any help you can give me on this family would be greatly appreciated.
