According to my records - Laura Josephine CARAWAY (two r's in some records) married Robert David TATE 12 Dec 1871 in Lexington, Lee, Texas. They had sons -- David, William, Robert, George and daughters Eleanor, Annie, Minnie, Mitzie, Sarah, Alice, Cinderella.
I believe, but have been unable to prove, that Laura Josephine CARAWAY 's father was James (Henry?) CARAWAY who married Mary Love EDWARDS in Tipton Co., Tenn.

Laura Josephine was a sister to my g-g- grandfather Alexander Love CARAWAY. Have been unsuccesful contacting CARAWAY relatives and wonder if any TATE descendants have information about this CARAWAY family.
