Mrs. Sprouse lived in the South liberty Oilfield, not in town. She was a member of the South Liberty Meth. Church. One of her sons was I.D. Sprouse, he had a couple of sons and a daughter named Nelda. I.D. lived with her for many years. I grew up and went to school with Nelda. You can find alot of records at the Sam houston Reg. Library, there in Liberty. Also you may find some records in Beaumont Texas, at the Terrell Historical library. There was also a family of Vaughns who lived down the road from the Sprouses, do not know if they were related or not. The wife died when I was very young, so dont know what her name would have been. They had 2-3 boys, and a girl, mine and Neldas age group, named Debrah,(Debby). She was adopted by a family from Old River, Texas, who was a minister. So this may be something for you to look into. One of the boys was Frankie Vaughn.
