In May of 2011 I found that Seaborn, son of Thomas and Mary Goodrum, was buried at Morgan Cemetery in Security, Montgomery Co., TX. His civil war records were obtained and with that info I submitted an application for a military headstone. When it arrived, my husband and I took it to the cemetery where my Goodrum uncles, Jesse and Elroy, met us and helped install it at his grave. Working with several groups, a Confederate grave marker dedication for Seaborn was planned and held last year on March 31, 2012. It was a very impressive ceremony and many grandchildren and relatives were present. I found the maiden name of Seaborn's wife was Elizabeth Lindley. Her first husband, James Bradberry, died during the Civil War. I purchased a headstone for Elizabeth and with the help of my uncles it was placed on her grave at Morgan Cemetery.
