Hello, My name is Tara. Rev Phillip Jackson Ellis, was my 3rd great grandfather. He was born Aug, 3, 1842 in Tuscaloosa,Alabama, he died Jun 19, 1910 in Dawson , Navarro County, Texas. He is buried at Dawson Cemetery as well. He was married 2 times, Nancy Caroline Brown, and Elizabeth Burleson. One of his daughter's name was Ellen Frances Ellis, she was married to Robert Bascom Hunton.
