We think Ben Brown was the father of Benjamin Ceymore Brown which is my father's(Benjamin Cecil) father. He was married to Emma Jane McKeen and they appear to have had 2-4 children. Benjamin Ceymore, Thomas, Lillian, Dora. I have not been able to find him on a Census with Emma Jane ever....Did find who I know to be Benjamin Ceymore (age 7) on the 1880 Census when Emma had remarried Weathersby. Ben was one of the early settlers of Oakville, TX - he is listed in a book we have a copy of but everything stops there. Not knowing his parents or which siblings were actually his has made it more than difficult. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
