Looking for confirmation that Cunningham Huston owned 1280 acres of land in Crosby, Lynn and/or Lubbock counties. This would have been purchased c. May 1879. A newspaper article appearing in the McArthur Enquirer on 4 June 1879 said he had made a trip to Texas and purchased land in the "corners" of the above mentioned counties. Can anyone having access to land records confirm this for me? Can you tell me any details? I would be happy to trade look ups for the central Ohio area. Thanks! - Kitty
