Hope you receive this query. I along with two other have been researching the descendants of John Gordon BENNETT and wife Martha J. CABLE, who started out in Scioto Co., OH., migrated to Massac Co., IL., with a stop off in TN. it appears then settled in Cass and Marion Co., TX. Their children born between 1852-1867included:

3.Alvin Benton marr. Minnie RYE
4.Emerson Waldo marr. Jimmie/Jennie HART
5.Horace
6.Samuel A. marr. Sallie Ann Scott CATES
7.Charles Oscar marr. annie BEAUCHAMP
8.George W.

Down Charles Oscar's line he had among his children a son Theodore Roosevelt "Ted" who married Gladys Mae DELISE 23 July 1924 probably in Marion Co., TX. or Cass Co., TX.
