Funeral service for Jobe Brown, 85, of Galveston, Texas, formerly of Live Oak Community in Bay City, Texas will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2006 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Galveston, Texas, 5202 Avenue K.

Burial will be in Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.

Jobe is survived by: his wife, Louise Brown, of Galveston, Texas and two sisters, Virginia Matthews, and Mae Ella Brown, both of Bay City, Texas.

Jobe was born to the late Shepard Brown and Octovia King Brown in Live Oak, Community.

E. R. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
