I am the nephew of Will P. Knowlton that you referred to in your post as being in the 44-A flight school class at Curtis Field. I have just read the book Unbroken, which is about Louie Zamborini, who was a bombardier in the South Pacific. All I know of my uncles military career is that he also was in the South Pacific in aviation during WWII. Would you be able to send me a photo or lead me to other information?
