Don, I know this is NOW 2013 but I know a little bit about Antonio. Of course, you know he was married to Anna Masek (Mashek) who died in the 1890's near the time her father, Vaclav Masek (Mashek) was killed, on April 4, 1894. They had a daughter Margaurette. Then Anne died and Antonio married Anne Svoboda and had more children by her. He was dedicated to Anne Masek as he is buried with her at the Sacred Heart Cemetery off La Salle. Anne's sister, Mattie Masek Keton, is also buried there. Mattie is "Mrs. Keeton's Bakery".Both of these ladies were my great aunts and I'm truly sorry I was born so late that I can never really know the truth about Antonio. I think he was a shady character because of the erroneous report he gave reporters at my great grandfather's death scene.
