I am not related to the George I Carney family. - Paula
The following are known children of George I and Charlotte J "Getie" Wilkerson Carney who probably married in Randolph Co MO appx 1866.
I am assuming that Charlotte J "Getie" was a Wilkerson based on persons listed in G I Carney's household in 1870 census and back tracking to 1850 census.
Mary Wilkerson born 1820 died 1884 is buried next to the Carney's in Eddy Cemetery and a Mattie Baker who appears to be Charlotte's sister Martha Wilkerson also buried next to the Carney's. Randolph County is not one of the available counties for marriage records in the Ancestry.com data bases.
Six of the Carney children were still living in 1910 when census was taken.
James Arthur Carney 1867 MO - settled in Wilbarger county was living in 1930.
Noah Allen Carney 1869 MO - 1899 TX
Charles Harden Carney 1874 MO - 1940 married Bettie
George C Carney 6 Mar 1877 MO - 2 Jan 1908
Mary E Carney appx 1879 MO - was living in 1910 married ?
Blanche Carney appx 1881 MO died McLennan county 1976 - married Edgar B Carpenter when she was 16, married Marshall E Ricks. Blanche Ricks wound up on Kansas at some point before returning to McLennan county.
Martha A Carney appx 1886 TX - was living in 1910 married ?
Gertrude? "Getie" S Carney appx 1889 TX married Thomas Jesse Allen moved to OK after death of G I Carney.
