Waco & Bosqueville

I am seeking information and/or old photographs of the brick plants for 3 marked bricks I have in my collection. They are "WACO", "WACOB.CO", & "BOSQUE". I would appreciate information on location, dates of operation, & names of folks that worked there and/or owners.

I have already checked with Ruth Crawford, Manager of the Bosque Collection and she is unaware of any plant in Bosque county that made marked brick. I know that 3 million brick were used in the construction of the Waco suspension bridge that were made locally in Waco. I think McLennan county had a brick plant that passed through several hands, changing the brick imprint with new owners. J. W. Mann was the owner of the brick plant in 1869 but I have not found much info on him or his brick plant.

Thanks in advance,
