MILAM COUNTY, TEXAS:
John (Jack) Bradley landed in New York City from Ireland, and went to Giles County, Tennessee. He lived in Milam County, where his son, John Brackenridge Bradley was born ca. 1835. Jack Bradley had worked as a stone mason, and he worked briefly on the Texas Capitol building in Austin. He died sometime between 1910 and 1920 in Kirkland County, where he was living with another of his sons, Jefferson Davis Bradley.
Willis Hampton Cast lived and operated a small store in San Gabriel, TX. He died in 1936, (he was in his eighties) and is buried in Locklin Cemetery. His son, John Taylor Cast, died in 1918.
C.T. Morris came to Texas from Giles County, Tennessee. His daughter, Martha Emmeline, married John Brackenridge (Brack) Bradley. We think that C.T.'s middle name may have been Tucker, and that the source of this name may have been his mother's maiden name.
Archer Skinner, married to Mary Jane (Molly) Watson, father of John Pascal, Walter Irving, and Carl, died ca. 1900 in BlackJack (Burleson County). He may have been buried in Porter's Chapel Cemetery, but we have been unable to locate his grave.
