Vicki,
I am glad you mentioned Margaret. Two days ago I found the following South Carolina marriage list on USGENWEB:

M250 McQUEEN, SAMUEL B G650 GRAHAN, MARGARET F Feb 23 1853
----------------------------------------------------------
It is quite possible that Mrs SE Mcqueen could have been Mrs Sula McQueen divorced and remarried which is why she was not located in Milam Co TX. This may also be your Margaret (probably Graham vice Grahan) and Samuel B. McQueen of Milam Co TX which may also be my Samuel.
The first child of my Samuel's daughter (my G Grandmother Jane Susan McQueen Cryer) is named Margaret E. "Mamie" Cryer Cansler. My Aunt Mamie had also carried married names of Allen and Redman. She was born in 1883 and died 23 June 1971 in the Milam Co area. My aunt's name is certainly consistent with the naming methodology of children based on their grandparents names.
Additionally, I had an Aunt Delia and Uncle Rufus "Doc" Moore that lived in either Milam or Bell Co on a farm and they lived just a very very short distance from a small cemetery with about a hundred relatives--mostly Cryer's, but I believe there were some McQueen relatives there also. I can only remember that maybe it had been next to a small church or house that had burned down and only the chimney was standing. I do not know if you live near there or if you have current McQueen relations still in the area, but the cemetery is a possibility to look into. I only knew it as the Cryer Cemetery so I don't know the real name. I believe my Aunt Mamie that I mentioned is burried in that Cryer Cemetery. Perhaps there is a record of her burial in Milam Co, but I haven't had time to look.
The Lord Bless your search and if I make any exciting discoveries, I will let you know.
