I haven't posted and updated my information for a while. I am seeking descendants of Joseph Solomon Walker and Martha Burns. Joseph was the s/o William Edsel H. Walker and Unknown. He may have been born in La. but moved to Texas as a very young child. Joseph married Martha Burns in Harris Co. in Dec. 1869. They had the following children. (Many are buried in cemetaries in Montgomery Co.) Nancy J., Ester Narcissa, John Albert, George Washington, Allen B, Jesse, Francis (Frank) Marion, William R., Joseph J., and my grandmother Minnie Ella. They had eleven children but only ten survived. The death certificate for Joseph S., states he is buried in Liberty Cemetery. However family stories state he was buried near his father and brothers. I found two brothers buried in the New Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery near Cut N Shoot. If any one thinks there is a connection please contact me.
