Best wishes with that search! Why not include her second marriage to Fred Murray? Shared "details" increases the accuracy of any search. Another impediment is the creation of Morris County, 13 Mar 1875, from Titus. Add "fuel to the fire" 'cause Titus County Courthouse was the victim of an arsonist on 20 Sep 1895. Early Titus County records had to be recreated from those transferred to Morris and Franklin Counties. View 1880 Morris-Precinct 3-095-Images 6 & 7 for John Charlton, Martha G. Charlton, and niece "Birty" Smith. "Birty" must have been Martha's blood-relative 'cause she's with her in 1900 AR-Little River-Burke-District 0073-Images 4 & 5. Martha's birthplace listed as Tennesse and that's true of Birtie H. Murray's mom in 1910 MO-Jackson-Kansas City Ward 8-District 0097-Image 13. I'm not related!
